BOSTON, Mass. (August 24, 2009) – Avecora today announced the acquisition of Avecora OnDemand, one of its flagship products, by Branchr Advertising. Avecora OnDemand is a web-based small business management application that allows companies and groups to organize and manage their information. The Avecora OnDemand suite includes project management, contact management, CRM (customer relationship management), calendar, status updates, and more.

Avecora OnDemand will be changing its name to Atomplan to better reflect its sale and dissociation from Avecora, which has shifted its focus from web applications to consumer electronics. Avecora is currently developing the Avecora Communicator, the social mobile communicator, and Avecora Network, the universal technological communication network.

"Avecora is very satisfied with the sale of Avecora OnDemand to Branchr Advertising, as we're focusing now on consumer electronics," says CEO of Avecora Mark Bao.

No financial details are being released, but the acquisition was a dual cash and equity deal. Avecora and Avecora OnDemand CEO Mark Bao will remain the CEO of Atomplan. Atomplan will be moving to the web address http://atomplan.com/ and customer login now resides at https://secure.atomplan.com/.
